Geothermal-Alliance Bavaria
The Geothermal Energy Alliance Bavaria (GAB) addresses questions from research and practice in the field of deep geothermal energy.
The overriding goal of the Geothermal Energy Alliance Bavaria is to strengthen the domestic energy source geothermal energy as a renewable energy resource, so that it can make a significant contribution in terms of CO2 reduction targets.
The Technical University of Munich (TUM), the GeoZentrum Nordbayern of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and the University of Bayreuth are participating in the research network. The Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, Science and Art is funding the joint research project for a period of four years.
